I have had diabetes for the last 14 years, and have struggled during that time to have basic control over it. Now I do. When I got a recent blood test I discovered my HBA1C (which is a percent of the last 3 month's blood sugars) was 7.6 - that's a big improvement over my usual 9+ percent!
